Women's sportswear e-tailer Lucy.com is giving fashion-minded fitness gurus much to cheer about. The Portland, Ore.,-based Web company, which has been marketing activewear and footwear to women of all ages, sizes and fitness levels, has evolved into a prime online destination for consumers seeking stylish workout gear and footwear.

Based on the success of its online business, the company last month launched a companion mail-order catalog. This venture will be followed in January 2001 by a Lucy@crunch shop located in a Crunch gym on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
