NEW YORK -- After months without a shoe endorsement deal, NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is still shopping around.
The wait hasn't seemed to slow up his game: Bryant is currently the league's No. 1 shooter, having the best season of his career. Just last week, the 23-year-old Los Angeles Lakers star generated a season-high 52 points to help his team defeat the Houston Rockets in double overtime.
Nevertheless, he has yet to score a new endorsement contract. After unexpectedly parting with Herzogenaurach, Germany-based Adidas-Salomon last July, speculation ran rampant: which shoe firm would sign the Lakers guard? At the time, Adidas said the brand and Bryant, who had been in the fold for six years, had differing opinions on how the company's basketball...
