NEW YORK -- Dr. Martens parent firm, R. Griggs Group Ltd., has tapped a former Levi's exec to assume its top sales position, following Bob Landerman's departure from the firm.
Bob Moran -- who spent 11 years at Levi Strauss & Co., most recently serving as vice president of sales for department stores -- started working at the Portland, Ore.-based company on Sept. 2.
Moran's appointment comes in the midst of a major turnaround effort at Dr. Martens -- the company is rolling out a revamped footwear line for spring '04 and plans to launch a major ad campaign for the first time in two years.
