Surely you heard about "Flip-Flop Gate" last week: Several members of the national-champion Northwestern University women's lacrosse team wore flip-flop sandals during a reception with President Bush at the White House. Insider thinks the girls should have gussied up a little more, but Sanuk sandals founder Jeff Kelley -- a big fan of the Northwestern lacrosse team -- had this to say: "We've recognized for some time that the world of political flip-flopping would eventually go toe-to-toe with the worlds of sports and fashion footwear. Politicians, like athletes, find great comfort in flip-flopping -- and we couldn't be happier."
