Adam Derrick, creative director and co-chairman of To Boot New York, the company operating Bergdorf Goodman Men's footwear, has delivered double-digit sales growth every year for the past two decades.

The secret to his success is exclusive product. "I live in Europe three months a year, developing [both] exclusive To Boot product and shopping for new and unique collections," Derrick said. "We bring new styles in every three weeks; core styles are replenished regularly, while accent pieces come and go. Our clients are enticed to visit frequently and buy now, when they see it."
