Dry Run
Dicon Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Greenwich, Conn.-based BH Shoe Holdings Inc., signed a licensing agreement with Sparks, Md.-based Fila to incorporate its Dryz technology into Fila's performance athletic footwear.
The deal includes shoes in the running, racquet sports, fitness, mountain hiking and cleated team sports categories. Designed specifically for use in footwear, Dryz is a technology that wicks away perspiration from the foot to a copolymer foam material that gradually dissipates moisture out of the shoe and into the air. Dryz also contains ingredients that neutralize odor and minimize bacterial growth.
This performance footwear line is slated to hit retail in spring '07.
