Ascon Group has released a more powerful version of its 3-dimensional solution for mechanical computer-aided design. Kompas-3D V10 includes a framework for 3D solid parametric modeling and 2D drafting, design, and release of documentation. Add-ons and libraries support features such as photo rendering, animation, kinematic and dynamic analysis, and extended CAD/CAM/PLM integration. Direct access is included to TraceParts Online Library, one of the world's largest mechanical parts catalogs, with features to import more than 100 million 3D CAD models and 2D drawings containing European-based and other parts suppliers in tooling, machinery, aerospace, and automotive industries.
