Cooperativa Ceramica d'imola, an Italian tile manufacturer, asked architect Roger C. Ferri to create a temporary booth at the World Tile Exhibition, Miami, that not only allowed visitors a close look at the product line, but also represented the client's commitment to expand the architectural uses of ceramics.
With both time and money as obstacles to overcomedesigning, constructing and assembling a temporary showplace in less than six weeks while adhering to a strict budget-Ferri chose a simple yet provocative design, actually building a structure entirely of Imola's products. ...
