The firm's in-house design team showcases the Design Partnership members' product arrays.
This is the second consecutive year that Steelcase has won an award for its Chicago showroom, a feat doubly remarkable as there was no major overhaul in the interim. Instead, the seemingly sweeping changes were affected by the addition of a single display prop devised after the promulgation of four objectives. The goals: to define a traffic path, bring in more light, produce effective backdrops for products, and project a clear strong message; the means to attain the aims: walls.
