Gabellini Associates gives a subtle luster to a jewelry showroom in Hamburg for Colleen B. Rosenblat.
COLLEEN B. ROSENBLAT is renowned throughout Europe for her one-of-a-kind gold and precious gem jewelry. Her new, 3,000-sq.-ft. showroom, designed by Gabellini Associates, graciously reoccupies a former carriage house in Hamburg's Poseldorf district, which now contains a large, ground-level showroom, a design studio and office, and a small, upper-level apartment. Gabellini Associates worked with local architect Matthias Ocker to ensure that the extensive renovation met strict preservation guidelines while transforming the interior into a thoroughly contemporary vision of crisp, effortless opulence.
