Michigan Technological University Hosts FEF Board Meeting.(Brief Article)

Foundry Educational Foundation Trustees who made the effort to reach out-of-the-way Houghton, MI, for the FEF Annual Meeting were treated to a real jewel of a school in Michigan Technological University (MTU). Nestled between the woods and water in the heart of the Upper Peninsula's "Copper Country," MTU is the only public technological university in the upper midwest.

Following welcoming remarks by University President, Dr. Curtis Tompkins, trustees were treated to FEF student-led tours of the College of Engineering undergraduate facility, as well as demonstrations in the mechanical testing facility, X-ray and microprobe area, image analysis lab, and casting simulation lab.
