Foundry Management & Technology, February, 2001

ABB Automation has decided to relocate its induction furnace manufacturing and repair business from North Brunswick, NJ to its Columbus, OH manufacturing site. The company has determined that furnace manufacturing, coil repair and parts distribution need to be closer to the majority of the installed customer base.

The transition will be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2001. Sales, service and engineering for the induction furnace business will continue to be located in New Jersey.
