The Industrial Heating Equipment As sociation (IHEA) has entered into an agreement with the Department of Energy, Office of Industrial Technologies to become an Allied Partner during IHEA's Annual Meeting, held on March 21 in Orlando, FL.

Under the agreement, DOE and IHEA will coordinate programs to meet the Industries of the Future Best Practices goal of increasing awareness of industrial energy efficiency and productivity for process heating equipment and systems.

Specific projects identified in the agreement include: the development of a software assessment tool to provide a method of quickly identifying the most promising opportunities to improve their facilities' process heating systems; tip sheets for industry to promote process heating...
