Remlinger wins Inaugural NFFService Award. (Metalcasting News).(Mark Remlinger of Matthews International Corp.)(Non-Ferrous Founders Society)(Brief Article)

Mark Remlinger, Manager of Environmental Compliance for Pittsburgh-based Matthews International, recently was presented with the inaugural NFFService Award, a new honor established by the Non-Ferrous Founders' Society Board of Directors to recognize outstanding service to members of NFFS and to the industry. NFFS Executive Director Jim Mallory presented the award to Remlinger.

Remlinger is a former Chairman of the NFFS Government Affairs Committee and a past member of the Society's Board of Directors. He was instrumental in the battle to get EPA to reverse its long-standing position that foundry sand was a waste material subject to RCRA jurisdiction and permitting at shakeout.
