Pratt & Whitney Canada entered into a Fleet Management Program with Air Midwest Inc., a subsidiary of Mesa Air Group. The $70-million contract includes a six-year term cost plan covering certain engine maintenance services, in addition to the purchase of select assets of Mesa's Desert Turbine Services maintenance facility located in Farmington, NM.
The contract is estimated to be worth $70 million over its lifetime. It provides customized support under P&WC's TCP for Mesa's fleet of 116 installed and spare PT6A-67D engines, as well as accessory coverage. This agreement is in addition to the current event cost plan agreement covering Mesa's fleet of 27 PW123D engines.
