Foundry Management & Technology, June, 2003
Edelbrock Foundry, San Jacinto, CA, has expanded its coremaking capability with two SCC 90A cold box core machines acquired recently from Roberts Sinto Corp., Lansing, MI.
The SCC 90 A produces cores for aluminum heads and other automotive attermarket castings for premier racing vehicles.
Speaking of the initial purchase, Ron Webb, v.p. operations at Edeibrock, said "The SCC 90A core machine was very easy to install, and to operate. The tooling changeover from our other equipment was also easy ..., and we are pleased with the quality of the cores we are producing."
Webb says the foundry is equally satisfied with second SCC 90A from Roberts Sinto, installed a few months later.
