A visit to the Web sites of the leading futures and options exchanges yields a plethora of educational programs and online courses. Most offer beginner, intermediate and advanced courses. While some are free, most of the more detailed courses aren't. However, a new free offering from the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) gives the beginning trader an inside look into the dynamics of futures trading. It's available online at www.cbot.com/investor.
"When we created the tutorial, we were looking to educate both the general public and the beginning investor in how to use futures and options," says CBOT Senior Marketing Director Jeff Campbell.
