More than a year ago. alternative investment managers and futures industry representatives gathered in Washington to present their wish list to regulators at the roundtable on commodity pool operator and commodity trading advisor issues. The purpose of the roundtable was for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to collect more information to better meet its commitment of providing intermediary relief. The focus was on examining areas of regulatory overlap and suggesting solutions.
