MOU means more.(Pacific Rim)(Memorandum of Understanding, Dalian Commodity Exchange, CBOT)(Brief Article)

The CBOT has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) in Dalian, China. The CBOT's recent agreement follows an August MOU with the Taiwan Futures Exchange (Taifex).

The CBOT and the DCE will share information on market and product development and potentially work toward developing markets for new futures and options contracts.

"We have been looking at the Chinese market recently, as well as their growth in terms of soybeans particularly, and other commodities also, just continues to accelerate," says Dave Lehman, managing director of commodity products at CBOT.
