The New New Economy.

It's an honor to be here. The invitation left the topic open, so I decided to talk about the New New Economy. I'm not exactly sure what it is yet. The New Economy, of course, is the Internet economy. The New New Economy is going to be whatever the Internet economy spawns, and that's still the subject of a lot of exciting speculation.

The topic is a take-off on Michael Lewis's best-selling book The New New Thing. Lewis is the guy who rattled Wall Street a few years ago with his first book Liar's Poker, and this one gives a pretty good description of the mindset at work in Silicon Valley.
