Pixxures, Inc. (www.nationalmap.usgs.gov). Pixxures and USGS will work jointly on an optimal system to deliver imagery online directly into user application.

As part of the USGS digital orthophoto quadrangle (DOQ) update, huge aerial image datasets are stored and distributed via traditional electronic media. The CRADA project--to be completed within 12 months--uses a combination of off-the-shelf software and Pixxures' technology to host and distribute, via the Internet, the entire USGS DOQ inventory.
