GE Energy's geospatial data management group has reached an agreement with the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa (www. cedar-rapids.org), to help that city's water department develop an enterprise GIS. The company will provide GIS analysis, recommendations, and mentoring and implement a limited pilot data-migration project to translate existing MicroStation data to a modified ESRI water-data model.
