The demand for geographers who have geospatial skills is flourishing. Why, then, is the number of professionals who call themselves business geographers so small? The answer is simple: Whereas many universities provide a geospatial technology education, few are teaching business skills to future geographers, and they aren't educating these students to think in a business context with business concepts.
