HASBRO'S HARE HOPS TO BBC BBC International, Ltd. has pulled a rabbit from under its hat. Toy maker Hasbro's Bucky O'Hare character has been licensed to the New York-based manufacturer for a line of children's footwear. The recently signed agreement calls for BBC, which offers a number of children's licensed footwear collections, to design and market the Bucky O'Hare line.
Hasbro is the licensing agent for this property in conjuction with Abrams/Gentile Entertainment, Inc., and Continuity Graphics Associates, Inc., publisher of "The S.P.A.C.E. Adventures of Bucky O'Hare." The new collection of athletic shoes, foul weather boots, casuals and sandals is available in infants' sizes 8-12 through children's size 6 and is slated for delivery this month....
