Atlanta-based B2B Web site USGift.com has closed up shop -- the latest on the long list of dotcom casualties -- after just over a year in business. But officials at OneCoast, which was effectively merged with USGift earlier this year, say the 18-agency sales group remains on solid financial footing.
According to Patrick Shannon, chief financial officer for USGift, the site will go out clean. No petitions for protection under Chapter 11 bankruptcy were filed. "There should be ample cash from receivables to pay off any creditors," he said.
