P.J. Kids enters youth bedding category with Better Basics line. (News Watch).

Princeton, N.J. -- P.J. Kids is broadening its reach by stepping into the kids bedding arena with a collection of all-cotton sets to be sold as a complete ensembles.

To be marketed under the tag line Better Basics, the 10-group collection features 240-thread-count in yarn-dyed wovens. A twin set, including comforter, dust ruffle, sheet set and sham, will retail at $199.

The product will be imported and will feature seersucker, gingham, denim, chambray and chenille fabrics.

Vasso Unks, director of marketing for the company, said the product will be ready to ship by the middle of July "just in time for back to school sales."

The line is in response to requests from retailers who sell other P.J. Kids' products, and the company...
