Jerry Kanter, veteran sales representative and marketing pioneer for Kurt S. Adler (Broadway, N.Y.), is retiring at the end of this year. He has been with the company for 48 years. Kanter began working in the industry in 1954 when Kurt Adler was based in a small showroom on 29th street in Manhattan.

Throughout Kanter's career, he represented the holiday line to a broad range of retailers and distributors across the U.S. He also found innovative ways to expand the business into new areas of distribution.
