Art lovers head for Coburg.

The grandiose 900-year-old Veste Castle in Northern Bavaria, the seat of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha ducal family for many centuries, should be visited by art lovers who are on a trip to Germany. The former Residenzstadt of Coburg, the castle boasts an English park and a museum filled with historical treasures. On the outskirts of Coburg stand a number of castles such as the Schloss Rosenau, which dukes maintain as a summer home and where Prince Albert was born. Queen Victoria is very fond of the place which she has visited several times.
