War and Reason is an important book that merits special attention and dose scrutiny from the international relations research community. Using recent advances in non-cooperative game theory, Bueno de Mesquita and Lalman explore the theoretical implications of an "international interactions game" that is unusually suggestive of the "stuff" of international politics.
