The Atomic Solar watches of Casio's G-Shock line, such as the model pictured here, are powered by solar technology and maintain time and date through a calibration signal sent daily from the U.S. atomic clock at Fort Collins, Colo. The watches are shock resistant, have five alarms, an "EL" backlight, a world timer, and a stopwatch.
