Bulova is marking its 130th anniversary of "timekeeping excellence" and celebrating the growth of its Bulova International division with the limited-edition 18k rose gold Bulova Ambassador, which debuted at the 2005 BaselWorld in April. Inspired by the brand's same-named timepiece of the 1920s and '30s, it features streamlined art-deco styling and an automatic movement--certified by the Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres--visible through the exhibition case-back. There are 130 individually numbered units for international distribution. At press time, it was unlikely any would be available in the U.S. market.
