Fitz Chem Corporation, Itasca, IL, has been appointed distributor for PetroCanada's synthetic coating fluid in the states of Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
Fitz Chem has also announced that it was awarded the 2003 Sales Achievement Award by TOR Minerals International, Corpus Christi, TX. The award, presented at the recent International Coatings Expo, was for top sales of TOR's barium sulfate. Ted Papousek, Fitz Chem's technical industry manager, was also honored at ICE. Mr. Papousek was named "Salesperson of the Year" by Dominion Colour Corporation, Toronto, Ont.
