Annual Lehigh University short course on Polymer Latex Technology set for June

The 38th Annual "Advances in Emulsion Polymerization and Latex Technology" one-week short course will be held June 4-8, 2007, at the Emulsion Polymers Institute at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.

The course is an in-depth study of the synthesis, characterization, and properties of high polymer latexes. The course organizer is Dr. Mohamed S. El-Aasser, Provost, Lehigh University, and director of the Emulsion Polymers Institute.

The "Advances in Emulsion Polymerization and Latex Technology" course will feature university lecturers and industry professionals, and is designed for engineers and scientists who are actively involved in emulsion work or those wishing to develop expertise in the area. It is assumed that attendees will have a basic background in chemistry.

Registration costs $1,450 for the entire course or $625 per individual day. The full registration includes a set of notes, continental breakfast, lunch, pizza party networking mixer on Monday, and a banquet on Wednesday.
