Thomson Financial, a leading provider of information and technology solutions for the worldwide financial community, recently introduced IR Vision, a product designed to help investor relations professionals (IROs), comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The SEC passed the act in July 2002 in an effort to restore investor confidence and the integrity of financial information. IR Vision seeks to provide IROs with a resource to better understand the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and to provide investors insights into a company's intangible assets and governance standards by properly executing online disclosure policies via corporate IR Web sites.
