MC2A passes major milestone.(Americas report)(Multi-Sensor Command and Control Aircraft)(Brief Article)

On February 5, the US Air Force (USAF) and the team led by Northrop Grumman (Melbourne, FL) that is developing the service's E-10A Multi-Sensor Command and Control Aircraft (MC2A) completed the program's systems-requirements review (SRR). The review was intended to ensure that all system-level technical requirements have been identifed, analyzed, and understood by the USAF and the contractor team.

The MC2A program aims to develop a next-generation system to augment the current fleet of Joint STARS aircraft. Northrop Grumman serves as overall weapons-system integrator. Boeing (Seattle, WA) is providing the 767-400ER airframe, while Raytheon (El Segundo, CA) and Northrop Grumman (Baltimore, MD) are teamed for the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program...
