EFFICIENT PROTOTYPE: Wal-Mart has opened a high-efficiency Supercenter in Rockton, Ill., the second of four such units it plans to open this year. The retailer expects the new store to use 20% less energy than a typical Supercenter. The stores use integrated heating, cooling and refrigeration systems and lighting innovations to save energy.
