With the introduction of the iMac DVs and DV Special Edition, Apple proved that the iMac craze was not just a passing fad. New introductions this year show no signs of the company slowing down.
Probably the biggest news for Mac users this year so far has been the preview of OS X, the next operating system from Apple that claims to be completely different than previous Mac OS systems, even OS 9, which just began shipping in late fall.
On the surface, the user interface, named Aqua, is highly graphical--and no doubt memory intensive.
