Epson is rolling out five new scanners. The Perfection 2450 PHOTO (October, $399) has 2,400 x 4,800 dpi resolution, USB connectivity and a built-in transparency adapter for scanning slides, transparencies and negatives. The EPSON Perfection 1650 and the Perfection 1650 PHOTO (September, $199 and $249 ESR respectively) both have 1,600 x 3,200 dpi and a 4-button interface with Start, Scan to Web, Scan to e-mail and Photo scanning buttons. The Perfection 1250 series (September, $129 and $149 ESP, respectively) features 1,200 x 2,400 dpi. The Perfection 1250 PHOTO model adds a 35mm slide adapter.
