A status report on the retailer/manufacturer marriage

The relationship between retailers and manufacturers has, and continues to have, more twists and plot turns than a Tom Clancy novel. But for better or worse, through thick and through thin, vendors and dealers are in it together. The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) recently conducted a study of this crucial marriage, a bond consecrated in microchips and point-of-purchase displays, to get a read of the current state of affairs.
