UST raises prices on four Smokeless brands.(INDUSTRY NEWS)

On Oct. 17, UST, Inc., parent of Greenwich, Conn.-based U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co., announced a price increase on most of the company's brands.

The wholesale price on the company's Copenhagen, Skoal and Rooster products increased by $0.10 to $3.01 per can. Red Seal increased by $0.10 to $1.97 per can. The price increases took effect on Oct. 24. Prices on Husky products remained the same at $1.05 per can, through the company raised the price on Husky earlier this year from $0.76.
