In a continuing effort to advance art education, the National Art Education Association, during its 1995 summer management meeting, drafted initiatives that aligned with the five goals of NAEA and supported the National Visual Arts' Standards. The purpose of the initiatives is to provide decision makers with information to expand arts education.
