Fax machines can be used in a variety of ways, and can be linked to a network based on personal computers. Microsoft at Work is a software architecture geared to providing this link and could have a major impact on fax usage world wide if it becomes popular. Fax usage is becoming increasingly common and the potential market for Microsoft at Work is large. Faxing is easier and Microsoft at work can save money by making the process of sending faxes more efficient.
