Steven Dowd (Fellow) has been appointed as Director of Finance of the Royal Mirage Hotel, Dubai, UAE with effect from May. Royal Mirage is the first hotel to be operated by Sun International hotel group in the UAE and is due to open in August. Mr Dowd joins the group after 15 years with Forte Hotels, which saw him rise from accounts clerk to financial controller, most recently at the Forte Grand Abu Dhabi Hotel, UAE. He has spent the last seven years in the Middle East region.
