BroadcastAsia2000, held from 6-9 June in Singapore, recorded over 9,000 trade visitors. Significantly, there were substantial percentage increases from countries affected by the recent economic crisis, namely Indonesia and Thailand. Besides the exhibition, events included a conference and the inaugural ComGraph2000 competition. Following this Year's success, the organisers announced that the show would be held annually; BroadcastAsia returns with CommunicAsia next year from 19-22 June at the Singapore Expo.
