From Start to Finish.(digital filmmaking process)

This flowchart is a generic overview of the entire digital filmmaking process. The assumption taken is that the digital feature will be shot professionally with a 3 CCD camera, edited on a non-linear editing system and mastered in an on-line suite. Budget willing, the feature will be transferred to 35mm film with its audio mixed for cinema release. From acquisition to digital mastering, video signals reside solely on Firewire 1394 cables and component digital cables. This ensures a full digital pass for both picture and sound.
