A new Indian animation studio, Studionyx, is set to compete for animation work, promising standards and facilities "comparable to Hollywood". Established by MUV Technologies, the Chennai-based studio intends to specialise in 3D animation and visual effects, gaming, and digital content creation, using Alias I Wavefront's Maya as its main software programme. The facility has also been certified as an Alias I Wavefront Authorised Training Center for Maya.
