Production on STAR-MediaCorp drama series begins after delay.(Devil Blues television program, Hong Kong and Singapore)(Brief Article)(Product Announcement)

Hong Kong's STAR and MediaCorp Studios in Singapore have started production on Devil Blues, an action drama series. The multi-million dollar co-production, originally named Virtual Drifters, was to have started production late last year and make its debut in mid 2001.

The 20-episode series will now go on air on MediaCorp TV, Channel 8 in Singapore this fall. There are plans for the series to be distributed throughout the region, namely in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China after it is first broadcast in Singapore.
