Some 18 years after the first martial arts fantasy of Zu mountain, Tsui Hark returns to screens this summer the long awaited sequel, The Legend of Zu, this time with more special effects, a large part of which were completed on home ground
When kung fu fantasy-fest Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain was first released in 1983, the Hong Kong cinematic world didn't quite know how to receive it. Director Tsui Hark's rich fantastical world coupled with dazzling -- albeit limited -- Hollywood special effects was a visual feast that not all could appreciate.
