It will now be easier for foreign filmmakers to shoot in Thailand. According to Somsak Thepsutin, minister to the prime minister's office, discussions with foreign minister Surakiart Sathirathai and officials from the Film Board of Thailand and other state agencies concerned concluded that foreign filmmaking in Thailand should be encouraged and promoted. Somsak supervises Thailand's media policy.
