Beijing-based Yings Production is to create a 40-episode situation comedy, Joyful Youth, for exclusive broadcast on STAR's Xing Kong Wei Shi. Xing Kong Wei Shi is a 24-hour Mandarin language general entertainment channel scheduled to be launched on the Guangdong Cable TV Network in the first half of 2002.
Featuring respected director Ying Da, the series is about three young single women who share an apartment -- their passions in life and the hilarious situations they fall into.
